What is the Frostbite Fish-Off?

Glad you asked! The Frostbite Fish-Off is an annual fundraiser for Trout Unlimited, hosted by Trout Unlimited's Chapter 509, based in Pueblo, Colorado, title sponsored by Subaru of Pueblo.

Eighteen teams of two anglers each will compete against each other for some fabulous prizes, bragging rights, and a great cause -- protecting our local watersheds in Colorado.

When is the Frostbite Fish-Off?

The 2022 Frostbite Fish-Off will take place on the Arkansas Tailwater in Pueblo, Colorado, on February 18-19, 2020.

We'll be trying to maximize our time on the water, and ensure we get 6 hours of fishing for the day. Sunrise is at 6:57am, with sunset being at 5:28 pm. It will still be a little chilly 8am, so first cast will not start until 9:00am, after the sun's been up for a couple of hours.

Attention controllers and sector judges! You will be required to attend at least one controller training session!
